Sunday, February 26th – 1pm

Artists are driven by different creative impulses. Some want to write hit records. Others see it as vital that their songs have a message. Many, however, have no predisposition other than the desire to be true to their muses. So is there a role for activism? What are the different ways in which artists show their engagement with the the society around them? And what is the future for humanitarian and charity work in an increasingly difficult economic climate?
