There’s a tendency for the word “unique” to be bandied around a little too freely in music circle, but that’s the only way to describe Jerry Fish’s genre-bending style. A highly charismatic performer who refuses to countenance audiences having anything other than a good time, Jerry routinely fill the country’s biggest venues, and in addition to fan favourites will be using The Music Show to preview material from his much-anticipated new album.

Four things you might not know about Jerry Fish…
– Fish has made an as yet unreleased spoken word album with actor Michael Marsden, which also features David Carradine, Harry Dean Stanton and Iggy Pop.
– His last LP, The Beautiful Untrue, featured a duet with Imelda May who’s also performed with them live.
– As part of his former band An Emotional Fish, Jerry enjoyed a massive hit in Italy with ‘Celebrate’, which is still a radio staple there.
– Jerry is also one of Ireland’s most in-demand advertising voice-over men.
