The Music Show can confirm that Just Forests, the charity organisation founded in response to the trade in tropical timber and decline of global forests will once again exhibit at the event.

“Of course we’re delighted to have Just Forests on board again,” Music Show organiser Mark Hogan said. “The company has played a crucial role in increasing awareness and helping us to understand the link between sustainable forest management and poverty in the third world. We’re definitely very proud to have a company that represents such a good cause exhibiting at the show again.”

Just Forests have also launched a partnership with the Tanzania-based NGO, Sound & Fair to help encourage Irish musical instrument makers and woodworkers to only use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified African blackwood.

The Music Show takes place on February 25 and 26, in the Main Hall, RDS.
