The Dubliners were barely known outside of hip indie circles when in 2010 they decided to give their Chariot debut away on Bandcamp. The album promptly went viral with tens of thousands of people from all over the world discovering their post-punk with a pop twist wares. Currently based in London where they’re causing a major stir, The Cast Of Cheers are gearing up for the release of their second studio opus, which is trailed by new single, ‘Family’.

– Zane Lowe is such a big fan of ‘Family’ that he played it twice in a row on his BBC Radio One show John Peel Undertones-style.
– The video for it is a stop-start epic compiled from 5,000 still photographs. How does it look? Brilliant!
– The band are also being championed by Australia’s national alternative rock radio station, Triple J.
– They’re managed by the same team as Two Door Cinema Club.
