Grammy Award-winning music producer, Steve Lillywhite, speaks to Hot Press at The Music Show 2010 in the RDS.
The English producer whose barnstorming CV includes Simple Minds’ Sparkle In The Rain, a plethora of U2 albums, including Boy, October and How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb, 30 Seconds To Mars’ This Is War, Talking Heads’ Naked and many, many more – including, of course, The Pogues’ Christmas classic ‘Fairytale Of New York’ and the rest of the If I Should Fall From Grace With God album.
Last year, the official Oasis website announced that Steve Lillywhite was working with Liam Gallagher and his new band Beady Eye. It’s merely the latest project with a top act for the former tape op who become one of the most revered producers around.
