O Emperor for The Music Show Academy Gig After Dark in Association with Hot Press
Fresh from their stellar performance on the Hot Press New Bands Stage at Oxegen come Waterford’s O Emperor. The quintet will shortly release debut single ‘Po” taken highly anticipated long-player Hither Thither. The band were winners of the National Student Music Awards in 2007 and in 2008. Were amongst the finalists of the Williamsburg Live Song Contest in New York City. Their sound reflects a myriad of influences which include Wilco, Grizzly Bear, Midlake, Mercury Rev, and the Flaming Lips.
