The Deans at The Music Show Academy gig After Dark in association with Hot Press
The blues-rock trio from Galway have been creating quite a stir of late, having just released their third long-player Distraction. The album follows on from debut One and sophomore outing The Album. Impressively the band have recorded and played with such industry legends as Henry Mccullough (Joe Cocker And Wings), Eric Bell (Thin Lizzy) Jackie McCauley (Them, Rick Wakeman) and Johnny Fean (Horslips). They were a resounding success at the Guitare-en-Scene Festival, Geneva, in 2007 and again the following year when they returned as headliners. 2009 highlights have included supporting John Mayall in The Academy and playing the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival.
