David Kitt
David Kitt is one of Ireland’s best-loved and original singer-songwriters. It was his second album, 2001’s The Big Romance, that really catapulted Kitt into the limelight – singles like ‘You Know What I Want to Know’ and ‘Song from Hope St.’ were at the top of the Irish charts for months. The album achieved double platinum sales and the follow-up record, Square 1, was no disappointment either, going straight to number one on its release in 2003. Kitt has brought out four further long plays and is currently collaborating with his brother on an electro project, Spilly Walker. The singer is well known as a fantastic stage presence and live performer. This year he was a headliner at Castlepalooza, Electric Picnic and Oxegen.
