Steve Iredale
Iredale is one of the most respected production managers and touring consultants in the music business. He got his start in the business working with Horslips, joining their road crew full time in the summer of 1977 touring America and Europe with the band during their peak period. Following the band’s demise in 1980 he went on to work with U2 where he remained more or less full-time for 23 years. In between, he has worked with a wide range of artists and events including Led Zepplelin, Prince, George Michael, Bon Jovi and Metallica. He co-ordinated the Woodstock Festival in 1994 and has managed various high-profile ceremonies and corporate events including the opening ceremony of Cork’s 2005 European Capital of Culture. More recently he has acted as a consultant with Coldplay.
