The RDS is situated on the Merrion Road in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
Getting there!
By Bus
The RDS is serviced by bus routes numbers 7, 5 and 45, which stop outside the Main Hall Entrance to the RDS on Merrion Road. These bus services can be availed of on Nassau Street outside Trinity College.
By Local Train
Dublin DART service also operates from the City Centre to Ballsbridge. Travel southbound to Lansdowne or Sandymount stations.
From Dublin Airport
The Aircoach departs from outside Arrivals every 15 minutes, the cost is €7 single and €12 return ticket. Alight at the RDS, Ballsbridge.
From Railway Stations
Taxis are easily available from Heuston and Connolly stations and should take no more than 15 minutes.
Parking
There is ample parking in the RDS. You can gain access from the Merrion Road or the Anglesea Road entrance.
From Dublin City Centre By Car
Outside Trinity College, take Nassau Street (N11) for about 150 metres then turn right following the signposts for the R118. Follow the R118 (also locally known Mount Street –turns into Merrion Road) for approximately 2km. The RDS is situated on the right hand side. We will have AA signs to direct you.
The Music Show presented by Hot Press in association with RTÉ 2FM runs from October 3rd-4th in The RDS, Dublin. Saturday 3rd October 10 am - 6.30 pm, Sunday 4th October 11 am - 6 pm.
Daily Tickets in advance are €6 for children, €12 for adults and €28 for Families (2 adults + up to 4 children) and are available on Ticketmaster now. Weekend tickets are also available
