Jailbreak is a BME Seminal Album

Coinciding with The Philip Lynott Exhibition coming to London, Jailbreak is to be celebrated in the British Music Experience, the Museum Of Popular Music in London’s O2 Arena.

The 1976 album has been selected to feature in the Seminal Albums series, which takes an in-depth look at historic records that show “the seed and foundation for future possibilities, developments and, as listeners, enjoyment.”

Jailbreak will be honoured and discussed on Wednesday June 13 from 7.30pm. Coming together to discuss the album, its making and its place in history will be Jim Fitzparick, long standing collaborator and artist for the bands album covers, Will Reid-Dick, who was the engineer during the making and, from LA via weblink, John Alcock the album’s producer.

Tickets are priced at £14 (including entry to The Philip Lynott Exhibition and British Music Experience). Go to www.philiplynottexhibition.com or www.britishmusicexperience.com/index.cfm?PageID=463 The BME for more details.
