We’re A Garage Band: Butch Vig’s analogue tales from Dave Grohl’s basment Uncategorized | Comments Off
Butch Vig's career as an abbreviated discography: Nirvana's Nevermind. The Smashing Pumpkins' Gish and Siamese Dream. Sonic Youth's Dirty. Garbage, Version 2.0 (the first Grammy nominated album recorded completely on Pro-Tools), beautifulgarbage and Bleed Like Me. Green Day's Grammy-winning 21st Century Breakdown. "Product placement, or embedded marketing, is a form of advertisement, where branded goods or services are placed in a context usually devoid of ads, such as movies, the story line of television shows, or news programs. The product placement is often not disclosed at the time that the good or service is featured." Program Director: Take 2, cue Howard. Beale: I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's worth; banks are going bust; shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter; punks are running wild in the street, and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat. And we sit watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us ...

Bohane-ian Rhapsody Uncategorized | Comments Off
City of Bohane Kevin Barry (Jonathan Cape) Kevin Barry's first novel proper, following his short story collection There Are Little Kingdoms, hums with more ambition than a hundred rainy realists.
