<description>That is actually a really interesting post. Well done.
I agree with what you're saying, but at some points it sounds as if you blame the people wholely for their plunge into the world of drink and drugs. There must always be an influence or contributing factor, after all they have to come from somewhere to be taken.
I think for the musicians and writers and the creative examples some of the mentioned people could have turned to the drugs as an escape from the stress and pressure they're put under to succeed and keep up with the fast paced lives they live.
I can see why they could also turn to drugs for creative inspiration as they open the mind and allow the imagination to be free. It seems to work though, which I guess doesn't help them to stop.
I just hope people can get help when they need it, because overdoses and deaths are just sad and uneccesary.
But I love Amy Winehouse, her music is brilliant. Pete Doherty, is my favourite musician and he's majorly talented, I'm really glad he's cleaning up.
I think that the press and gossip magazines should lay off and stop kicking people when they're down, because when someone is in a bad state and feeling low the last thing they need is to see a picture or nasty headline to make them feel any worse. I think they should focus more on the positive actions of celebritys instead of weaving lies and blowing up every bad point or action.
This was a good read, nice one (:.
