Solidarity Week : Drop-D
When I began writing about Irish music last year, I asked myself why I wanted to focus on Irish music. The simple answer: there weren’t enough sites to do it justice.
Drop-D was the only really informative, independent website to keep abreast of changes on the street level of gigs and bands here in Ireland while still branching into the adveturous with visitor content. Aloof from both news and blogging camps saw Drop-D find an impartial home to Irish music on the web. Here, music is really what matters and does not depend on popularity ratings or obscurity. I digg that.
