This Is The Album Of A Band Called Adebisi Shank is out now on Richter Collective

*EDIT*
Just to follow on from yesterday, some vids have popped up on YouTube:

Snakehips

Jump Cut

And I have to include a snapshot of The Boardgame Of A Band Called Adebisi Shank. My kids coloured in the squares.
The directions are deadly:
The Engineer is SOUND - jump forward 5 places”
“You get woken up by sweat dripping off the ceiling into your mouth - miss a turn”
“The screw that holds your strap on falls out of the hole. You screw it back in but the treads are completely gone. You put some matchsticks in and some glue and screw it back in. It will hold for now - WELL DONE!”
“Your Mam washes your mask - miss a turn”
“You stay home and watch Waterworld - WIN THE GAME!”

So that’s what they looked like on stage..
alls I could see was the backs of many, many heads…

  2. nay says:

How was the sound further back?

  3. Liam says:

yeah it was ok.. not ear-bleedingly loud, but you could hear everything clearly..
While Shank were deadly, I was really taken with Owensie’s new band, Realistic Train, who played first - total sleaze-rock heaven…..

  4. nay says:

RT were LOUD…the air turned to grease.

  5. flynnduism says:

What a sweaty evening it was! Never seen the BBR so packed. The Shank were very impressive, I’ll be going to see them whenever I can in dublin (which judginbg by their tour schedule won’t be for awhile)

  6. nay says:

Wicked night all round by all accounts then!
Apparently every gig in Cork is like that…so maybe don’t see them in Dublin?

  7. nay says:

    Cheers! Were you there?

  8. Cool pics, judging from the sweat on the lens on the first few you must have been standing next to Colin.
all in all great night , was also blown away by Realistic Train (only there second gig as a band as well)
