2008’s been a trying year for The Hot Sprockets. Despite missing a member due to illness, they’ve continued to gig regularly, raising money for the family of drummer Adrian ‘Age’ Kelly who was taken seriously ill last year. Concerned fans will be relieved to know Age is on the mend and left hospital yesterday. The Sprockets’ initial plans to release and tour their new material have been postponed until he’s ready to return to the fold, so until then, know them as The Not Sprockets who rock it. Be sure to check this Radiator gig at the Hub on March 7, which will see the lads take to the stage as TNS for the last time in the forseeable. Support on the night comes from Protectors of Mexico and Ebo.
