I thought they were quite good, the new songs sound great live and fit into the set really well. The crowd was a bit subdued where I was standing, though - maybe because they stopped after every single song - so there wasn’t a great deal of momentum built up. But I’m just being terribly picky as always.
I also realised in a moment of genius that if you ABBA-ised S&D (take their four initials), you could spell ‘ASDA’. You can use that if you want. Anyone..?
Ah the witty repartee of esoteric journo banter. I’ll pass on that one though….
Hadn’t seen S&D and decided to wait to see the show before buying an album. Thought they were great but you’re right about the breaks in the set, each song was very seperate…still a decent buzz in Whelans on the night tho!
I just realised you could expand this blog, I’d assumed you had a Molloy fetish. My applause at managing to get photos of me without a depressed face on me.

I thought NA were pretty good…so shy!

I can’t complain too much, since I missed the support act anyway. So really, I can’t comment

You should try their first one, Love the Cup. Even better than the new one.
