Nevereverever did I expect to get this far. The last few months of tentatively stepping into the blogosphere have been the most fulfilling and inspiring of my photojournalism forays. Unsigned bands and daffy, from-the-heart exuberance are what I’m all about but I felt lucky just making a fist of this blog considering the huge creative talents of my contemporaries. I haven’t been included in a list of anything since I won the 800m at Sports Day when I was 12.
A special thanks to Fluffy Damien for all his hard work in organising the Awards, to the judges who decided to include OHR in the shortlist and of course to downloadmusic.ie, without whom we wouldn’t have a sponsor for Best Music Blog.
