Just Three Days Left for Tisch Submissions!
Dust off yer shoulders and snap that jewel case closed: only three days remain to submit your works of staggering genius for the first of 2008’s Tisch Video Premieres.
Every few months musicians ask me about this competition…newest batch of vids get released and everyone wants to know the deal: what is this comp and how do we win it?!
The story is simple: winners collaborate with film students from New York’s illustrious Tisch School of Arts to produce a professional music video.
You become a winner by submitting a photo, a brief bio and the all-important track deserving of a video.
Previous winners include Kanye West, Madonna, Dickie Rock, Republic of Loose, Fight Like Apes and Noise Control. Musicians of all levels are welcome to compete.
Entry is simple: read on for more details…
1. Submit a recording of the track(s) you believe deserves to have a music video.
2. Send us a picture of the applicant – yourself/band/artist so we can see what you look like.
3. Tell us about yourself in no more than 250 words – your musical direction, your history and why you think we should produce a music video for your track.
