If it's music, food, stout and merriment you're looking for, get yourself down to the Beamish & Crawford site in Cork this August for the second 2012 installment of Murphy's Little Big Weekend.
On Saturday 25, see a legend of the UK post-punk scene, Peter Hook of Joy Division and New Order, at the Murphy's Big Gig. ‘Hooky’ will play a Joy Division album in its entirety with his band The Light, as well as a selection of classics including ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ and ‘Blue Monday’. Support is provided by Cork’s Dead School.
