    The Kilkenny Arts Festival starts this Friday, for ten days of music, arts and entertainment.  Our Minister for Tourism, Culture and sport, Mary Hanafin will officially open the event at a celebration of the Visual Arts, which has been curated by Oliver Dowling. Philip King and Joseph O'Connor will be appearing in the Watergate Theatre on Friday (August 6), for some readings, banter and some songs.
