    This year's Hard Working Class Heroes festival will be taking over Dublin from Thursday, October 4 to Saturday, October 6 with shows in the The Button Factory, The Grand Social, The Mercantile, Meeting House Square, Twisted Pepper and The Workman’s Club. The festival is now calling for the best and brightest musicians to apply for a slot to play at the event and for Ireland's photographers to submit their best music related shots for a chance to feature in a HWCH Photographers Exhibition.     The Annual Showcase Festival and Conference for New Irish Music runs from October 6 - 8. The weekend will be packed with a range of industry events and music. 100 bands including Ghost Estates, The Kanyu Tree and Alarmist will appear over the three days at the following venues: The Button Factory, The Mercantile, The Grand Social, Shebeen Chic, Twisted Pepper and The Workman's Club.     The showcase event is taking in some new venues this year. Hard Working Class Heroes 2010 is to take place in Dublin between October 7 and 9. As in previous years, over a hundred acts will get to play over the weekend, with a limited number of Early Bird tickets on sale now for €35, a saving of a tenner. Venues confirmed so far are Twisted Pepper, Pravda, The Workman’s Club, The Button Factory, The Mercantile, Sweeney’s and Andrew’s Lane Theatre.
