    Tubridy to launch Dun Laoghaire Opera fest DLR Glasthule Opera Festival | (1)
    The Pavillion Theatre has announced that it is to host Dun Laoghaire’s first ever Opera Festival this June. The festival will be officially launched tomorrow, June 4th by Ryan Tubridy at a special Gala reception. The DLR Glasthule Opera was founded to establish an annual Festival of Opera in Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown and will run from June 16–27. The festival kicks off on Bloomsday with ‘Remembering the Tenors of Ireland’, where young Irish tenor Emmanuel Lawlor will be performing songs made famous by past generations, including John McCormack, James Joyce, Dermot Troy and Frank Patterson.
