In a couple of weeks one of Northern Ireland’s top music events, Tennent’s Vital 2012, will be live with a great line-up which includes a Foo Fighters headline on Day 1 (August 21), alongside The Black Keys, The Cribs, The Minutes and Trucker Diablo.

The next day (August 22), the Stone Roses play Boucher Road Playing Fields as part of their come back tour. Also on the bill are Florence + The Machine, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Maverick Sabre and Gerard i2.

Organisers have just announced a new activity for festival fans, called Tennent’s: Vital Acts of Kindness, which gives ticket holders the chance to win prizes and experiences at this year’s festival.

First on the kindness list is the Tennent’s Bar, where fans can sit an enjoy a pint between sets.  Open to all ticket holders, it specifically allows Facebook friends of Tennent’s to reserve a table at a specific time, with the first pint free. Reservations can be made from Wednesday August 8 on Facebook.
