Northern popsters The Adventures – ‘Broken Land’, ‘Send My Heart’, ‘Drowning In The Sea Of Love’ etc. – are reforming to headline the Friday night at the Time To Be Proud festival, which runs from May 22 to May 24 in Belfast’s Black Box venue.

Saturday bill-topping duties are taken care of by The Minnows with The Sabrejets bringing things to a close on Sunday.

Support bands across the three nights include St. Vitus Dance, Shibuya Crossings, A Plastic Rose, Velma, John D’Arcy And The Gentlemen, Kitty And The Can Openers and the 3Tones, alias John, Damian and Paul from The Undertones who are playing with The Minnows.

The bash has been organised by the Good Vibrations and Immortal Recordings labels to celebrate the best of Nordy rock.
